Testing for Quality: Benchmarking Energy-Saving Lamps in Asia
This report was produced by ECO-Asia CDCP in cooperation with the Australian Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts with the support of the Asia-Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate. The report assesses the overall quality of CFLs currently being sold in Asian markets by testing 2,600 sample lamps purchased in six countries in the region. Based on the test results, the report advocates for harmonization of standards in Asia and looks at the possibility of implementing a regional product-testing program.
